What is the Trust to you?

 

 "The North Harris Trust was pivotal in supporting and encouraging me and my now wife to remain in Harris by providing affordable housing at the Tigh an Urrais Flats. This accommodation allowed us to remain here and build our 'forever' home"​

 

Why do you serve as Chair/Director?

 

''As a director, I hope to encourage other young locals to remain in Harris. I look forward to contributing to projects that benefit people living here by representing the people of North Harris''

"It's because of the community that I choose to remain on Harris. I believe times have changed with regards to face-to-face interactions within the villages; however, working as a healthcare professional, I see the best of the community, as it is always the neighbours who are first to offer help when an emergency occurs."
