28th June, Strond: Red Deer Stag reported from Fionnsahagh and Geocrab

Over the last few decades Red Deer have been confined to North Harris, Taransay and Pabbay and have been absent from South Harris. However, over the last week a Stag (possibly two different animals) has been reported as seen in Fionnsabagh and Geocrab. Although Stags oftenwander large distances, sightings in South Harris are rare.
