On Thursday 24th May I went with Robin and Matt on a guided walk up the Clisham. The weather was absolutely incredible. The sun was shining and the sky was a perfect blue. We were walking from around eleven until five but we stopped regularly for a drink or to look at plants or wildlife. It was quite hard work but the views were unbeatable, even if you were the most talented artist you would never be able to capture the beauty of the view. From the top of the mountain you could see for miles and miles, I could’ve stayed up there forever.

I think that it is fantastic that the North Harris Trust give people, who normally wouldn’t do that sort of thing, the chance to go on amazing walks around Harris and Robin is really great at leading the walks as well.
Climbing the Clisham made me release that I really enjoy going on walks even when they are challenging and I would definitely love to do that kind of thing in the future.
